Customer Success Engineer

About your role

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will engage with users early in their adoption cycle to educate and train them on new technology. You will consult with customers on the design of networking and security for their Kubernetes platform. You will provide thought leadership and guide customers and partners towards implementation of best practices and provide technical assistance during steady state operations. You will provide technical training to our users while also performing account management functions such as managing customer information, building relationships, understanding business requirements and advocating for our solution.

You will:

Ensure success of your assigned customers' deployments
Develop and deliver technical training on Kubernetes Networking, Security & Observability
Collaborate with Solution Architects to design and deliver networking and security workshops
Help customers resolve technical issues while meeting key support SLAs
Build a multi-media repository of technical content for our customers to help accelerate learning and self-enablement
Influence the direction of our product by working closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams to incorporate the needs of our customers into the product roadmap
Become a trusted technical resource and advocate for your customers
Share learnings and insights from our customers to help shape our marketing programs and product roadmap

You have:

4-6 years experience in a customer-facing technical role at a network security software company
Solid hands-on technical skills & knowledge - you will be able to check off most (if not all) the following:

Linux fundamentals and system administration
Layer 7 Networking
Gateway API & Load Balancing
Private and public cloud
Networking & Security
Application level Security
Automation & Scripting

Analytical and process-oriented mindset
Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
Resourceful self-starter adept at navigating challenges to deliver effective solutions with the ability to inspire others.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Experience in an early-stage startup environment is preferred
Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or related
