General Overview:
Candidate will Coordinate the implementation of Engineering Instruction Changes and Process Change requests as well as creating and maintaining Bill of Materials.
· Will plan, schedule and optimize flow of approved materials, components, and related materials through all phases of material planning, from scheduling, requisitions, and deliveries to meet production requirements.
· Supports new products preparation activities in order to ensure that the start of the production is trouble free.
· Coordinate, track, and plan the implementation of ECIs and PCRs
· Conduct weekly ECI meetings
· Maintain necessary communication between suppliers and customers
· Create and maintain Bills of Materials
· Create and maintain part information in part databases
· Create and issue Purchase orders
· Process Kanban’s
· Ability to create and manage schedules for multiple departments.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university, or at least four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Basic understanding of the automotive assembly process
· Basic computer skills (Strong Microsoft office skill)
· Ability to organize multiple people to a common goal
· Versatility, flexibility & willingness to work with constantly changing priorities
· Experience with Bill of Materials and ECI is preferred, but not required.
