Operations Manager

Topicals is seeking an Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across all facets of operations including supply chain with a focus on logistics, inventory management for all sales channels, business growth & strategy, and some elements of finance. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Ops Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to implement best-in-class processes. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset and is passionate about building scalable systems and practices, ultimately improving day-today operations. They should also have previous experience with program management and operational planning.

• Lead and optimize sourcing, planning, and logistics to ensure consistent product availability across all sales channels.
• Partner with Retail, Finance, and Marketing to drive accurate forecasting and demand planning, minimizing outages and overages. 
• Align closely with sales channel leads to improve supply chain efficiency and ensure compliance across territories.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for warehousing and fulfillment, focusing on speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Build & maintain strategic relationships with 3PLG, warehouse, manufacturing, and vendor partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop and manage project budgets for multiple initiatives effectively, ensuring cost-conscious resource allocation and meticulous financial oversight.
• Oversee inventory management, including physical counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation reporting to Finance.
• Lead key operational initiatives, including product launches and new process implementation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, QA, and retail standards to uphold brand and operational excellence.
• Analyze operational spend to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.

• 5+ years progressive experience in operations, logistics or fulfillment.
• Demonstrated strategic planning experience.
• Deep understanding of retail operations and warehouse management systems.
• Works effectively with other departments, ensuring alignment of operational activities through open and consistent dialogue.
• Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Proven ability to successfully oversee and optimize multiple complex projects concurrently, demonstrating exceptional organizational prowess across diverse initiatives.
