E-Commerce Content Specialist

We are seeking a Website Content Specialist to maintain our e-commerce presence by optimizing high-performing product pages that align with SEO and UX best practices. This role combines creative front-end design, content optimization, and technical SEO experience to enhance user engagement, improve search rankings, and drive conversions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Shopify, implementing SEO strategies, and creating visually compelling, conversion-focused web pages.

Shopify Web Design & Development:

• Design, develop, and optimize Shopify store pages, ensuring responsiveness, usability, and a seamless user experience.
• Implement custom Shopify Liquid code, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end enhancements and theme customization.
• Ensure website speed, mobile responsiveness, and performance optimization for Core Web Vitals.
• Create and refine landing pages, collection pages, and product pages to drive conversions.

SEO & Content Optimization:

• Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, headers, image optimization, and structured data (schema markup).
• Optimize product descriptions, collection pages, and blog content for search engines while maintaining brand voice and messaging.
• Improve site architecture, internal linking, and page structure for better discoverability.

Content Strategy & Merchandising:

• Work closely with marketing and content teams to ensure engaging, conversion-driven content placement.
• Develop and manage Shopify blog content, banners, and promotional assets that align with brand goals.
• Implement A/B testing on key pages to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Performance Tracking & Analytics:

• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
• Identify and resolve SEO issues, UX/UI bottlenecks, and conversion roadblocks through data-driven insights.
• Generate reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience designing and optimizing Shopify stores, with a portfolio showcasing e-commerce web design.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Strong understanding of Shopify SEO best practices, including structured data, page speed optimization, and site architecture.
• Experience using Shopify apps and integrations .
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
• Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs for SEO analysis.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance creativity and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, content, and development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.
• Knowledge of structured data (schema markup) and accessibility best practices.
• Basic copywriting skills for SEO-optimized product descriptions and landing pages.
• Experience working in a Shopify Plus environment or a high-growth e-commerce business.
