Accounts Payable Specialist

YOUR MISSION

As the Accounts Payable Specialist at True Anomaly, you play an integral role in managing the company’s accounts payable and expense processing primarily. You will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, matching approved POs, and conducting various account reconciliations.   You will manage and code all credit card and travel expenditures.  This role will support audit and month end close through account reconciliations, auditor walk-throughs and pulling support of auditors. The Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure that financial statements are correct by ensuring that invoices and expenses are correctly coded.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process accounts payable invoices through the company’s P2P software.
• Proactively maintain the accounts payable e-mail and ensure timely responsiveness and action.
• Prepare and maintain vendor documentation.
• Support weekly payment runs and post payments in accounting system.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and address any discrepancies.
• Review and post expense reporting transactions.
• Assist in month-end close processes.
• Support annual audit request as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable Experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Must have a fundamental understanding of accounting principles
• Previous Aerospace and Defense experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail
• Prior NetSuite experience preferred
• Prior with P2P software and Expense software preferred

COMPENSATION

• Base Salary: $65,000-$85,000
• Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave 

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Work Location: This position will be fully onsite at our Gravity Works Facility, located in Centennial, CO with the potential for limited hybrid opportunities in the future.  

• Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory. 

• Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.
