At True we are building a diversified environmental services organization focused on consulting and engineering, water/wastewater management, testing/analytical services, and value-add remediation services. This is a great opportunity to join our growing team!
What you'll do- Manage range of engineering projects including stormwater drainage design, waste water treatment, shoreline stabilization, etc. from initial planning stage to construction oversight.
- Perform field evaluations including construction inspections, erosion control inspections, infiltration testing, test pits, field measurements, etc.
- Develop civil/site engineering assessment alternatives, reports, calculations, drawings, details, etc.
- Review and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to apply to a range of client’s operations, equipment, and circumstances.
- Develop permit applications on the local, state, and federal levels.
- Collaborate with other team members to review and revise written work products.
- Coordinate subcontractors including surveyors, wetland scientists, general contractors.
- Coordinate scheduling to meet client’s deadlines.
- Analyze data, prepare client reports, and communicate with clients.
- Respond to requests from clients or regulators on data or information provided in communications, reports, etc.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other True Environmental engineers and project managers.
Minimum Qualifications- 5 years experience in the field of civil/environmental site design.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or closely related field.
- EIT certification.
- Familiar with hydrologic and hydraulic design procedures (i.e., TR-55, Rational Method, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Familiar with HydroCAD
- Structural Design
- High degree of motivation, strategic planning, self-starting capability and able to work autonomously;
- Project management experience including deliverables, schedules, and budgets
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
