Turning Point Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager/Lead Test Engineer to join our team. The QA Manager/Lead Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and services through effective planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies, and excellent leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will focus on managing the QA function within the project and lead a team of QA engineers or testers who are responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases, and identifying and reporting defects. This position is required to work closely with other stakeholders, such as developers, product managers, and project managers, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and resolve any quality-related issues that may arise during the software development process.

Responsibility:
• Lead the creation of detailed test cases covering various scenarios and conditions to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Manage the execution of manual testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Oversee and streamline the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Help the QA team in executing the full software testing life cycle.
• Perform SQL development to support testing activities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
• Track and prioritize defects found during testing using defect tracking tools and drive to timely resolution.
• Generate test reports to communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members on testing best practices, tools, and techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing roles.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium and Test Rail.
• Experience with Selenium Test automation, and scripting in Java and Cucumber framework.
• Hands-on experience using Postman for API testing.
• Hands-on experience using Apache JMeter with Selenium for Performance testing.
• Hands-on experience using JIRA or other tools as the defect and task-tracking tool.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and services on time and within budget.
Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
• Testing in the healthcare IT domain
• Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Agile Tester, or similar, are a plus.
U.S. Residency Requirement
• Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
• Must be able to pass background investigations and obtain Public Trust clearance.
