Senior Social Media Manager

We are Two Circles. We are a Sports & Entertainment Marketing business. We grow audiences and revenues. We do that by knowing fans best. We work with clients to help them understand & influence what their fans are doing – the way fans spend their money, the events that fans attend, the channels fans respond to, the content fans watch and more. And we use the understanding this gives us to help our clients grow. Grow their audiences and grow their revenues - both direct to consumer and business to business revenues.

Our platforms and services are trusted by over 900 clients globally, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, the NFL, Nike and Amazon. We are almost 1000 people, based out of 14 offices, and we deliver work for sports and entertainment businesses of all shapes and sizes all over the world.

Two Circles’ Content capability maximizes the impact of sports content through consultancy, multi-format content production and channel management. Services include creative and video content production, digital marketing campaigns, strategy, consultancy, full management of digital and social media platforms and commercialization of digital platforms. 

We are looking for a Content Producer to assist our talented and growing team in North America. We operate across a wide variety of sports but expert knowledge of the NBA and its social landscape is a paramount. Strong knowledge of the NFL, WNBA, NWSL, fight sports, and domestic and international soccer is desired with NASCAR and NHL as a bonus. We want people with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of platforms and emerging digital trends. You should know social media inside out. 

ROLE SUMMARY 

  • A social media native with a deep understanding of the relevant platforms  
  • Ability to execute real-time and planned social media output across our flagship accounts, both during and outside of live events 
  • High level channel and community management, content planning and creation 
  • Understanding of brand sensitivity and how important tone of voice is 
  • Quality creative ideation, big and small, on a consistent basis 
  • Dedication to ensuring our content stands out and attracts engagement in a crowded space 
  • An excellent team player, dedicated to our overall success 
  • Daily collaboration across both internal teams in the US and UK, as well as externally with our client and any associated partners (broadcasters, clubs, etc.) 
  • Strong knowledge of the social media landscape in the US to ensure our content is optimized for each platform 
  • First rate planning organizational skills to keep across a busy calendar of sporting events and their implications for our channels 
  • Can deliver long and short-term social media campaigns and initiatives 
  • Able to produce short-form and longer social-first video edits and templated graphics 
  • Research and report content performance for internal and external requirements 
  • Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends depending on the sporting calendar 

The ideal background and skills we are looking for include: 

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in channel management and social coverage of live events, either concurrent with full-time education or in a professional setting 
  • Experience working on digital content for sporting federations or media organizations is preferable 
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills 
  • First-class editorial judgement and accuracy 
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience of multiple social media platforms 
  • Mobile device content-creation skills at live events/video shoots 
  • Detailed understanding of how platforms are used to achieve business objectives 
  • Must be able to work weekends, as well as evenings, and be flexible about working patterns to cover sport 

The following would also be beneficial: 

  • Experience of using Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, video clipping tools, ideally Premiere Pro 
  • Ability to come up with original content ideas and spot developing trends and opportunities 
  • Understanding and awareness of social media analytics, especially in helping to guide content strategy 
  • Spanish speaking 

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Two Circles in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
