Senior Promos & Retention Associate

About the role and why it’s unique:

• Develop, execute, and optimize retention strategies for customer engagement across all four verticals.
• Analyze customer behavior and campaign data to continuously refine retention and promotional strategies.
• Use SQL to query data, create reports, and drive actionable insights to enhance retention efforts.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure the success of targeted campaigns, tent pole events, and sportsbook customer journeys.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and supporting their growth.
• Take part in cross-functional initiatives to refine customer journeys, reactivation campaigns, and overall retention strategies.

Who you are:

• 1-3 years of experience in retention or marketing, ideally within the sportsbook or gaming industry.
• Possess strong SQL skills and can confidently use it to analyze customer data and report on campaign performance.
• Understand the importance of a personalized customer journey and know how to develop strategies that foster long-term engagement.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other teams to execute campaigns.
• Self-starter who can balance both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Even better if you have:

• Experience with retention platforms like Optimove or Braze.
• Familiarity with data reporting tools like Looker or Sigma.
• Experience in customer engagement strategies for sports fans and gaming products.

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $81,000 and $92,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
