We are currently looking to strengthen our team with a dedicated and organized Release Manager!
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the rollout of new software releases to customer environments in collaboration with functions across the organization and providing visibility and single version of truth around software releases to internal and external stakeholders. You will be implementing release management processes and driving release management excellence through continuous improvement.
As Release Manager, you will be part of the CTPO Delivery Operations team, whose mission is to enable and optimize the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle of Unit4 solutions across Product Management, Engineering, and Cloud Operations.
You will work within Release Management, one of the three governance functions comprising Delivery Operations. Release Management is responsible for managing the introduction of software releases to live customer environments through a standardized and collaborative approach, with a goal to maximize continuous delivery of customer value while minimizing business risk.
What will you do
Ways of Working & Excellence
Design, optimize, and drive adoption of release management processes at scale – as part of Unit4’s end-to-end software delivery methodology and in collaboration with other Delivery Operations functions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement around software releases with a goal to optimize customer experience, increase adherence to industry best practice, and streamline release management practices across the portfolio.
Facilitation & Collaboration
Facilitate the planning and execution of software releases, including release planning, communication, coordination, and risk management – to ensure consistently stable and predictable software releases.
Support cross-functional collaboration, remove impediments, and accelerate feedback loops between business functions throughout the release process – underpinned by the BizDevOps culture and practices.
Insights
Provide visibility and single version of the truth around release plans, schedules, and status to internal and external stakeholders.
Measure release outcomes and effectiveness to enable continuous improvement.
Your profile
You are an experienced professional within Software Development, Operations, or Customer Success with a strong customer focus, a passion for cross-functional facilitation, and drive for continuous improvement. You enjoy building robust processes for the SaaS world and facilitating their diligent operational execution. At your core, you are a servant leader, able to motivate and unite people across functions, locations, and cultures towards a common goal. You are an excellent communicator and an analytical problem solver, highly accountable, independent, and results-oriented
Your qualifications:
3-5 years of working experience in a Software Development, Operations or Customer Success function.
Higher education degree, preferably in business or technology.
Solid understanding of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle and BizDevOps collaboration in a SaaS business.
Excellent organizational skills, preferably with a track record from project, program, or delivery management roles.
Strong facilitation skills, with an ability to foster collaboration, drive progress through servant leadership, and enable improvement through coaching.
Experience with process design, implementation, and improvement.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English with an ability to effectively connect with business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to thrive within a fast-paced work environment and adapt to change.
