Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Business Operations Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence across our company. You’ll work on a variety of strategic and operational projects, including supporting customer pilot programs, analyzing key business data, tracking KPIs, and collaborating with the go-to-market team on content development and event organization. This role is highly collaborative and thrives on cross-functional work with teams across the full organization, with regular exposure to high-stakes projects and the leadership team. • Meaningfully contribute to business revenue by owning customer pilots end-to-end 
• Ensure that users have a seamless experience during pilots and convert to an annual subscription
• Iterate on the materials, strategies, and meetings that are used as a part of the pilot process to continue to increase and speed up the pilot conversion
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insight and actionable recommendations to leadership on where business priorities should be
• Act as a liaison between the customer and the product team, holding a strong understanding of what the customer needs and helping advocate for product priorities
• Support go-to-market efforts by developing marketing materials across a multiple mediums to keep Valdera top of mind to the potential customer base
• Plan and organize events, such as webinars, trade shows, and client workshops, in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams
• Adapt to new challenges and priorities as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a problem-solving mindset
• Show a commitment to putting in the necessary time and effort to exceed expectations and achieve ambitious startup goals
• Flex across global time zones to support customer needs and urgent internal priorities

• 2-5 years of experience in business operations, consulting, strategy, or related role across software, procurement, and/or supply chain & operations industries
• Track record of owning relationships with large enterprise customers and business leaders
• Strong analytical skills and ability to concisely present and make recommendations based on the data analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in presenting and influencing stakeholders
• Self-starter with a willingness to take ownership of projects and adapt to shifting priorities
• Ability to work collaboratively across all Valdera functions (e.g., sales, operations, product, engineering)
• Has quickly learned new skills, tools, and software (e.g. GSuite, Figma, Notion, Microsoft Office etc.)
• Capable of creating structured plans and managing multiple priorities effectively
• Willingness to travel occasionally when the job requires 

• Knowledge of the procurement function and / or the chemical & raw material industry
• Educational background in business, supply chain, engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field

Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 / year

Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including the labor market, market compensation bands, internal parity, and budget considerations. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s individual skills, qualifications, location, and experience relative to the requirements of the role.
