The Role

This founding role will own and revolutionize how we deliver our AI coaching platform across the enterprise. You'll be the strategic architect of how Nadia, our AI coach, adapts to each organization's unique needs - from customizing landing pages and coaching flows to fine-tuning response patterns and implementing specialized features. Working at the intersection of technical implementation and client strategy, you'll ensure every user has a truly personalized experience that feels native to their company culture, whether that's at the organizational, divisional, or regional level.


This is a role for someone who can both execute and innovate. You'll be responsible for developing our customization playbook from the ground up, working directly with our Customer Success team to conduct technical discovery sessions, gather requirements (from leadership frameworks to performance processes), and implement solutions through sophisticated prompt engineering and variable configuration. More than just taking requests, you'll be our expert voice in guiding clients toward optimal solutions that scale, building the foundation for how enterprise-grade AI coaching evolves.

What You'll Do
  • Own the end-to-end customization strategy and implementation process for all enterprise clients
  • Design and implement scalable solutions for client-specific customizations across prompts, variables, landing pages, and specialized coaching flows
  • Partner with Engineering and Customer Success to develop a systematic approach to customization that balances client needs with platform scalability
  • Lead technical discovery and implementation meetings with clients, pushing back when needed and guiding them toward optimal solutions
  • Develop and maintain the playbook for new client launches, including standardized processes for gathering requirements, implementing customizations, and testing
  • Create reusable templates and components that accelerate deployment while maintaining quality
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure customizations drive both buyer satisfaction and user engagement
  • Identify patterns across client needs to inform product development and platform capabilities


What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting and/or similar client-facing technical roles.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including active listening, and ability to build trust with enterprise stakeholders to manage requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex client requirements into relevant learning solutions leveraging Valence’s tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working with APIs, preferably with exposure to LLMs or AI systems
  • Track record of developing scalable processes and documentation
  • Passion for AI/ML and its application in enterprise settings
  • Startup experience preferred; proven comfort with ambiguity and high velocity execution is a must.

Location and Work Environment

Candidates based in either Toronto or NYC will work 3 days a week in our office locations there. Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones (UK), and have valid travel documents without work authorization restrictions in the US.
