Senior WordPress Developer

Responsibilities:

• Building, updating, and maintaining responsive websites in WordPress.
• Writing clean, well-designed code and contributing to all phases of the website development lifecycle.
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
• Working closely with digital strategists, SEO specialists, and designers.
• Understanding client requirements and translating them into proper UX and UI functionality.
• Configuring and customizing WordPress, WP plugins, and integrating with other tools.
• Designing new web page designs using Figma.
• Interacting with REST APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Maintaining the websites on a monthly basis and managing domains and servers, especially in WP Engine.
• Integrating and managing website forms with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot)
• Performing quality assurance before going live with any website updates

• 5+ years of front-end website development and maintenance experience in WordPress/PHP
• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD. Prior experience in Figma.
• Proven graphic design experience
• Knowledgeable in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (with JQuery)
• Proficient in code versioning tools, including Git, Mercurial, and SVN
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Prior experience integrating and managing website forms with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot)
• Strong knowledge of web hosting environments to work with the website support vendor on any issues
• Prior experience working with tools and plugins such as Zapier, LiveChat, WP Rocket, GA Connector, Salesforce, and ADA Compliance tools (an added advantage)
• Experience in SaaS and hotel website development is an added advantage
• Understanding of Atlassian and Artificial Intelligence tools and trends (an asset)
• Good judgment to proactively and independently solve problems and make decisionsAbility to effectively work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a balance of priorities
• Attention to detail is a must
