Director, Commercial Sales

Vasion is looking for a Director, Commercial Sales who exemplifies our core values and wants to be part of our growing team. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas while serving as a leader and performer and loves the challenges that come with selling both established and new products into the market. The right candidate will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, dynamic, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, accountable, and not afraid to take calculated risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of Account Executives (AEs) responsible for driving revenue growth within the general, non-vertical-focused business.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate the AE team to exceed sales goals and foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, forecast sales, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
  • Work closely with the finance, operations, product, and marketing teams to provide customer feedback to improve our offerings and customer experience.
  • Work with senior management to devise and implement innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Increase license counts with the current customer base along with growing the adoption of our new product sets.

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in B2B sales leadership roles within the SaaS industry, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience selling software/hardware technology solutions is preferred.
  • Must have experience with technology tools such as SFDC, DOMO, and other tools.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
