Customer Coordinator (Accounts)

Job Description

Do yourself a power of good

Want to work somewhere where you are doing good for the world, your community and yourself at the same time?

If you think you’ll thrive working in a sector undergoing significant transformation, working on critical projects of global significance, and can cope with that responsibility, then being part of the team creating this new energy future for New Zealand is certainly going to energise your career.

About the role

As Customer Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting all things accounts for our Customer Contracts Team. This will include managing customer credit requests, invoices and auditing, as well as reporting, account management and documentation.

It’s an exciting and varied role, where you’ll shine as the team’s go-to person for accounts support, and will give you exposure to a breadth of projects that our diverse team supports. As well as continually learning in the role, you’ll build an extensive network across the organisation – this is a fantastic opportunity to build your career at Vector!

Who we are looking for

  • You’ll have a strong foundation in customer service, with previous experience supporting accounts/billing/financials, eg invoicing, purchase orders, credit refunds and billing
  • You’ll have a head for numbers, and a fundamental understanding of balancing accounts
  • Naturally you’ll be highly organised and methodical, adept at prioritising competing demands to deliver to fixed deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
  • Your interpersonal skills will be your strength, with a customer focus and the ability to balance customer priorities with the business’s needs
  • You’ll be computer-literate; familiarity with SAP and/or Siebel is a bonus.

We love working together to create a new energy future. If you want to be part of an organisation with a real and tangible purpose, Vector could be the place for you.
We offer:

  • A fun, flexible and stimulating work environment, full of interesting work being done by smart and innovative people
  • Flexibility, including the choice of working from home a couple of days a week, and flexible start and finish times so you can balance work and life
  • Health and wellbeing support
  • Great benefits that reflect the importance of family
