As the Key Account Manager, you will guide the strategy development and implementation for Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions’ (VWTS) largest and most important customers. Your leadership will be pivotal in engaging with customer leadership and VWTS teams to align and deliver on strategies that utilize VWTS products and services. This role demands an in-depth understanding of the Energy industry, customer goals, and VWTS’s organization, products, and services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement and Strategy Execution: Serve as a strategic partner to key customers, developing and executing Strategic Account Plans to achieve sustainable growth for both the customer and VWTS. Your role will involve maintaining relationships with key influencers, including c-suite level executives, to align and meet account objectives.
  • Solutions Expertise and Collaborative Leadership: Provide expert guidance and collaborate across functions and organizational boundaries to mobilize stakeholders towards shared goals. Your knowledge of VWTS products, services, and applications will be crucial in negotiating contracts and driving initiatives.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving and Safety Advocacy: Lead in a matrixed environment, working to implement the necessary business processes and operating rhythms.
  • Your strong communication skills and ability to work with a remote team will support VWTS in exceeding customer commitments.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), Biology, Chemistry or Environmental Science from an accredited college or university. (Or equivalent experience in the field).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience selling large complex accounts, complex contracts, and/or technical solutions of substantial value in the Upstream and Downstream sector.
  • Eligibility to work in a range of environments, including heavy industrial facilities, light manufacturing facilities, and commercial and institutional properties.
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred.

Additional Information

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to travel within the territory as required and reside in the assigned region or within customer proximity requirements.
  • Willingness to work in a heavy industrial environment, using Personal Safety
  • Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and other irritants.
  • Basic computer skills in Google Workspace, MS Office and other software programs within a Windows environment, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to submit to a check of driving record for roles requiring company vehicle operation.
