Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Manager of Field Development. As a Manager of Field Development, you will be overseeing the technical growth and development of our field teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve business objectives. You will play a crucial role in driving team development, facilitating on-the-job-training, implementing technical training programs, ensuring team resilience through succession planning and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Duties & Responsibilities
Align and tailor learning experience to existing competency maps for all technical roles.
Design, develop and deploy learning experiences in collaboration with the technical learning team to accelerate technical competency growth and assurance.
Create and deliver comprehensive technical training programs in conjunction with the Field Service Manager to enhance the skills and knowledge of the field staff, ensuring they are equipped to meet customer needs safely, promote positive customer experiences and repeat sales.
Develop and implement on-the-job training opportunities to reduce time to competence for technical staff and enhance the overall onboarding experience.
Coordinate and support all technical training programs such as StrongStart, Basic Services Course, etc.
Monitor, analyze and report technical training KPIs and metrics; serve on Root-Cause-Analysis teams when required, and take proactive measures to address any competency gaps.
Engage stakeholders to review, critique and recommend improvements to existing competency maps.
Lead the development of new competencies and competency maps, perform job task analysis and training needs assessments as a subject matter expert.
Research and integrate industry best practices, advancements in technology, and market trends to drive innovation and improve field operations such as wastewater, PFAS, etc.
Collaborate with Regional Leadership to formulate regional training. competency strategies and succession plans.
Assess and optimize learning experiences by evaluating modality, curricula, instructional materials and instructor effectiveness.
Conduct site and regional assessments of Competency Program implementation
Manage change initiatives involving technical training, assessment, and/or competency programs.
Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including communication strategies, resistance mitigation and training roadmaps.
Facilitate and support the training aspects of new large-scale contract start ups.

Required:
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of field experience.
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Ability to steer effective communications via a defined communication approach
Ability to build relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and drive results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Motivated individual with proven self-starting capabilities to create innovative solutions
Proficient in using technology and software applications related to field operations.
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Preferred (if applicable):
Deep knowledge in multiple VWTS technologies and processes
Prior experience teaching or mentoring technical skills
Superior presentation skills
Strong collaboration and planning skill
Prior experience or ability to learn basic e-learning authorware
