The Mission: Building our Next Rocketship
The Recruiting Executive Network is at a critical and exciting juncture. We are fast approaching 100 founding members - many of them leading recruitment at the most prominent organizations in the country and the world. Reception and initial value signals are higher than we’ve seen with other launches. And, the potential runway is company-changing.
The task ahead is to kick the Network’s expansion into a higher gear while maintaining the aspirational standards that have sparked success thus far. To that end, we are looking for an exceptional colleague to join in, and put their shoulder against the early work.
At the level of details, this Network Director role is about member impact and value. At the level of mission, the work is broader. We are gathering the group to pilot the next rocketship product for the firm. You can think of this group as The Expansion Team.
The Expansion Team
An expansion team comes at a critical moment in a product’s development. Not quite fledgling, as we have already seen significant success. But also by no means established, as unanswered questions abound, and we do not have replicable processes. This is a period defined in equal parts by pace and analysis.
To that end, the Network Director will be expected to play a role not only in serving Network members, but in advancing our understanding of product-market fit and its implications on our product strategy. You will join product strategy group meetings multiple times a week and support projects focused on our understanding of the market and the reception of our services.
The shift to the expansion phase of a product is crucial. This role will be central to that shift.
The Role
The Network Director - Member Impact will play a pivotal role in building and shaping the Recruiting Executive Network through building relationships with and delivering value to the members in the Network.
The Network Director will be responsible for ensuring the members of the Network derive as much value as possible from their involvement in the Network. This will take myriad forms, many known and some others to be discovered and defined. The initial focus will be on learning - building an understanding of the market, the product, and the collective knowledge we’ve developed in the market. Then, we want our Network Directors to be the Initial face of the product; the trusted advisors that bring Heads of Talent Acquisition into our scope of influence.
The ideal Network Director will embody intellectual curiosity, magnetic presence, adaptability, and a passion for building peer-driven communities. They will confidently balance the unknown while inspiring trust and collaboration with the team that drives collective progress.
