Campus Coordinator, STCC Early College Program (SY25-26, High School)

What You’ll Do


The campus coordinator reports to the Dean of Early College Programming, and works closely with the Principal and the leadership team to promote and strengthen a “One School, Two Campus” school culture.   The campus coordinator ensures that the STCC program runs safely, efficiently, and productively.   Responsibilities and duties include the following:

  • Ensure that students have the support and supervision needed to productively engage in the STCC campus program, including J (January and June) Terms.
  • Collaborates with Dean to create and facilitate J Term programming 
  • Meet daily with the Dean of Early College Programming to review and resolve challenges, plan for upcoming events, celebrate successes, and coordinate campus events
  • Support teachers to hold all students to high and consistent behavioral expectations 
  • Plans and leads morning staff meetings and collaborates with the Dean to plan and facilitate staff meetings
  • Supports the Campus Student Success Manager with discipline issues
  • Serves as a resource for teachers in developing their relationships with students, classroom management, and school culture. 
  • Support the Campus Student Success Manager in managing the supervision of arrival/ breakfast, lunch, class transitions, activity period/office hour, and dismissal, making sure that students are always where they are supposed to be and ensuring a professional school culture at these times. 
  • Work collaboratively with the counseling department, related service providers, family and community engagement staff, partners, and other individuals to ensure that students and families receive the appropriate level of support services.
  • Manage day-to-day STCC relationships (professors, facilities)
  • Ensure there is robust communication between the STCC and Carando campuses in regard to activities, events, opportunities and school news
  • Serve as an early college liaison for at least one college course each semester
  • Support S DC TCC Liaisons in monitoring and supporting student academic progress, collecting and reviewing data to collaborate with the Dean on decisions and protocols

  • Two to three years of teaching experience (preferably at the secondary level)
  • Deep content knowledge in English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Have or be eligible for a MA teaching license
  • SEI endorsement within one year of employment
  • Current authorization to work in the United States – a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment

  • Salary Range for this position is $74,000- $96,000, exclusive of fringe benefits.
    • If hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
    • In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
    • Keep in mind, the above range is the full base salary range for this position. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
