Lead Veterinary Receptionist

Location: Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital, Rye, NY

Position: Full-Time Lead Veterinary Receptionist

Schedule: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Salary: Enjoy a 4-day work week! This position includes one 12-hour shift (7:45 AM – 7:30/8:00 PM) and three 9-hour shifts (7:45 AM – 5:30 PM). Additionally, availability for an alternating half-day on Saturdays may be required. Flexibility in scheduling is currently available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage front desk operations and ensure a warm, welcoming environment for clients and their pets.
• Supervise and train reception staff, promoting a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing inquiries with accuracy.
• Address client concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to streamline operations and enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in veterinary software systems is a plus.
• A genuine love for animals and a desire to contribute to their well-being.
