What we expect of you, day to day.
· Leads prospecting and new customer acquisition strategies for opportunities beyond existing Visa relationships in core, consumer business; builds relationships with new stakeholders
· Works closely with Account Executive to coordinate opportunities with overall customer success plan / account plan
· Researches customer and market trends to identify potential new clients and opportunities, introduce innovative solutions, and position Visa as a market leader
· Assesses deal potential after identifying new opportunities based on strong Visa product / solution knowledge, and maintains cross-functional relationships to pull in specialists / engineers where needed to drive deals forward
· Anticipates and uncovers ‘hidden’ client needs, giving them confidence that Visa can address their needs and jointly achieve their business objectives
· Leads with a client-first sales mindset and creates custom, differentiated solutions that grow Visa and clients’ business
· Maintains awareness of deal margins when negotiating and effectively sells and negotiates based on value to close deals quickly and effectively
· Leverages internal (e.g., Legal, Finance, Risk & Compliance, Marketing) and external partnerships to bring the best of Visa to clients
Key Responsibilities:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Country Manager for Switzerland & Liechtenstein and the market team to influence and implement market-relevant topics across a diverse range of areas. Your strategic vision and leadership will be instrumental in developing and implementing medium- and long-term plans that encompass services, client strategy, and organizational development.
Imagine leading groundbreaking initiatives that bring significant new products to market. You will leverage your expertise to resolve interdependencies and drive innovation through an ecosystem approach, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration between market participants, government and regulators. Your role will be critical in ensuring Visa’s position as a market leader in the Swiss payments landscape, by addressing regulatory topics and supporting initiatives within the Swiss payments ecosystem.
Your ability to prepare for and contribute to strategically important internal and external meetings, such as leadership meetings and client panels, will showcase your exceptional organizational skills. You will also provide hands-on support for multi-client business-as-usual topics that require special attention and management due to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
As a trusted representative of the Country Manager and the Swiss market team, you will participate in both internal and external gremiums. Your insights and expertise will help manage and contribute to bilateral client discussions, positioning you as a subject matter expert in the initiatives you lead and support.
Additionally, your role will be dedicated to fostering collaboration between Fintechs and existing Visa clients, enabling clients to differentiate their propositions through strategic partnerships with Fintechs and Visa. To achieve these objectives, you will collaborate with a variety of cross-functional Visa teams, including Products, Commercial and Money Movement Solutions, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Client Services, and Marketing.
