As the RVP of Sales - Sports Vertical at vivenu, you will...
  • own one of our largest and strategically most important verticals, working directly with top-level executives in Major and Minor Leagues, College Athletics and other sporting event organizers
  • manage and mentor a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • track and report on sales activities and outcomes, ensuring alignment with established goals and objectives.
  • collaborate with upper management to develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth targets within the sports vertical
  • identify and pursue target sports accounts, leading initial outreach efforts alongside BDRs and effectively pitching vivenu's solutions
  • navigate complex sales cycles by managing multiple stakeholders, including User Buyers, Technical Buyers, Economic Buyers, and Customer Experience teams
  • build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and fully understanding their needs and wants
  • close deals with new clients, further expanding our customer base
  • identify emerging markets and market shifts, while being fully aware of new products and competition status at all times


We are looking for candidates that...
  • have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a similar field
  • have 7+ years of customer-facing experience in software- or tech companies, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • have 3+ years of experience managing and developing sales teams, with a focus on coaching and performance enhancement (preferred)
  • have experience selling enterprise software to the education sector, with a focus on colleges and universities (preferred)
  • have experience selling enterprise software to the sports, entertainment, or live events sector
  • have experience selling a mission-critical product/solution
  • display the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • show strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • show commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences


$300,000 - $450,000 a year
The approximate compensation range for this role in New York, NY includes base salary, a virtual stock option plan (VSOP), and any related bonuses or commissions. Factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications will determine the final compensation for this role.
