Vixxo is seeking a a Service Provider/ Sourcing/ Vendor Management Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship Program at our Colwich, KS office.

* Internship will run for 8 weeks, June 2nd – July 25th

* 32 hours per week Monday – Thursday

* Paid Program

Role & Responsibilities:

This role provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vendor management and relations, while also developing crucial skills in communication, negotiation, and data analysis. This Intern will provide support for the Procurement team in 2025 company goals and initiatives.

Top Responsibilities Include:

• Vendor Communication: Assist in maintaining regular communication with vendors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues or concerns.
• Data Entry: Input and update vendor information in the company's database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Documentation: Help prepare and manage documentation related to vendor agreements, contracts, and compliance.
• Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential new vendors and evaluate their suitability.
• Support Senior Staff: Work closely with senior vendor relations personnel to support various tasks and projects.
• Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving any vendor-related issues, such as payment discrepancies or delivery problems.
• Performance Tracking: Help track and analyze vendor performance metrics to ensure they meet company standards.
• Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings between vendors and internal teams.
• Compliance Checks: Assist in ensuring that all vendors comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on vendor activities and performance for review by senior staff.
