We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Associate to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to launch a career in sales. You’ll work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to generate new business opportunities, qualify inbound and outbound leads, and play a critical role in building the top of the sales funnel.
This is an ideal role for recent graduates or early-career professionals with strong communication skills and a passion for customer engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential customers through a variety of channels including LinkedIn, email, CRM tools, and more.
- Qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods.
- Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to understand their business needs and present a value proposition.
- Set up meetings or demos for the Sales Executives/Managers.
- Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine outreach strategies and campaigns.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and product developments.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and outreach targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (internship or project experience counts).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling and handling objections.
- Basic understanding of the sales process and lead qualification.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (like HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
