Why this role is important to us:
We seek a highly organized and proactive Channel Partner Manager to support our Channel Sales by managing partner relationships, ensuring seamless communication, and driving operational excellence. This role is to ensure we are engaged with our strategic partners and to ensure alignment across all stakeholders, tracking key initiatives, and enhancing partner engagement through strategic value-added efforts. We require an experienced salesperson with partnership skills who has dealt with partners before through different channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Management & Communication
- Serve as the central point of contact for all channel partners, ensuring timely responses and updates.
- Maintain a structured communication cadence with partners, including newsletters, updates, and check-ins.
- Ensure all partner-related documentation, agreements, and performance metrics are up to date.
Project & Process Management
- Track and manage key partner projects, ensuring all deadlines, deliverables, and expectations are met.
- Coordinate internal and external teams to align on channel sales initiatives, marketing efforts, and enablement programs.
- Implement processes and tools to improve partner onboarding, engagement, and reporting efficiency.
Enablement & Value Creation
- Develop creative ways to bring value to partners, such as exclusive insights, training, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to provide partners with co-branded materials, campaign support, and thought leadership content.
- Organize partner events, webinars, and recognition programs to enhance engagement and loyalty.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report on partner performance, engagement levels, and deal progress.
- Maintain CRM and partner portals to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on channel sales performance and partner success stories.
- Assist sales and demonstrations with resources such as Whip Around Sales Account Executives
Experience
- Sales Experience: Sales experience as an Account Executive in the fleet management sector and a good understood fleet software solutions
- Highly Organized: Ability to track multiple moving parts and ensure follow-ups happen without fail.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain strong relationships with partners.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in managing projects, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Creativity & Initiative: Ability to proactively identify opportunities to enhance partner value and engagement.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Google G-suite, Slack, Zoom and similar platforms.
- Prior experience in channel sales operations, partner management, as an Executive Assistant or sales support is preferred.
