Compliance Pipeline Specialist (Remote)

WinnCompanies is looking for a Compliance Pipeline Specialist to join our corporate team. In this role, you will support the Development and Operations teams in the onboarding of new properties, oversee lease-up duties, and ensure owner and investor expectations are met or exceeded.


Please note that this position $95,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. This is a remote position, the selected candidate must live in a state that WinnCompanies currently operates in.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and participate in software setup in the on-boarding of new properties under management (both lease-up's and occupied) and refinanced properties through analysis and interpretation of regulatory documents.
  • Lead development and implementation of Compliance and Compliance related leasing strategies, materials, policies, plans, and procedures specific to the property as required to assist in the onboarding of new or refinanced properties to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Attend and participate on all Winn-Start Calls, provide Compliance-related guidance as needed, and ensure all property setup deadlines are met.
  • Monitor lease-up activities and progress towards established goals from initial certification through stabilization.
  • Act as liaison and consult with various departments, agencies, investors, third party compliance vendors, and/or clients through meetings, conference calls, helpdesk ticket completion, etc., to efficiently respond to compliance related inquiries or concerns.
  • Travel every other month as needed.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Experience with RealPage/OneSite property management software.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple assignments and tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct HUD experience.
  • COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) certification, CAM, CAPS or similar designation.
  • SCHM (Specialist in Housing Credit Management), NAHP certification or similar designation.


$95,000 - $100,000 a year
