Human Resources Compliance Specialist (Boston HQ)

Be the Guardian of Workplace Excellence: Human Resource Compliance Specialist at WinnCompanies

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

At WinnCompanies, we're not just managing apartments—we're building communities where people thrive. Behind every successful community is a framework of thoughtful policies and practices that protect both our organization and our people. That's where you come in.

As our Human Resource Compliance Specialist in Boston, you'll be instrumental in making sure our processes, notifications, and policies are in compliance with the complex employment regulations we must follow, while championing best practices.

What Your Impact Will Look Like
  • Become our compliance guru: Partner with HR leaders to navigate evolving employment laws, turning potential roadblocks into pathways for organizational change
  • Shape the employee experience: Manage the process to develop and refine policies that don't just meet legal requirements but enhance our workplace culture
  • Be the guardian of best practices: Lead trainings that transform compliance from a checkbox to a competitive advantage
  • Conduct proactive investigations: Identify potential issues before they become problems through strategic auditing and monitoring
  • Build the future: Contribute to special projects that drive our mission forward in new and innovative ways

The Ideal Match
  • You're detail-oriented but never lose sight of the big picture. You're equally comfortable diving into regulatory texts and translating complex concepts for diverse audiences. Most importantly, you believe compliance isn't just about avoiding problems—it's about creating possibilities.

You Bring
  • 3-5 years of HR or compliance expertise with advanced knowledge of employment laws
  • Sharp analytical skills with experience in auditing and process improvement
  • Tech savvy, especially with Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities without dropping the ball on details
  • A commitment to confidentiality and outstanding communication skills

Preferred (but not required)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • PHR certification
  • Project management experience

What's In It For You
  • Work-life harmony: Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule with 4 days in our Boston HQ and Fridays remote
  • Rest and recharge: Generous time off including 12 paid holidays, accrued time off, sick time, and more
  • Invest in your future: 401(k) with company match
  • Comprehensive healthcare: Medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA options with employer HSA contributions
  • Growth opportunities: Tuition reimbursement and continuous development programs
