About the Role:
Wristcheck is expanding! With the upcoming launch of our second global boutique in New York, we’re looking for watch, retail and luxury enthusiasts excited to be part of our opening team building the watch world of tomorrow!
As our Store Operations and Logistics Senior Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our new boutique. You’ll be responsible for supporting operational efficiency and streamlining logistics processes, making a tangible impact on the buying and selling journey. This role will have a dual reporting line to our local Store Manager and the Logistics and Operations team based in our Hong Kong headquarters. This is a full-time position based in New York City with 40 hours per week.
What you'll be doing:- Oversee the organization and upkeep of the merchandise stock room and store supply rooms, ensuring all merchandise, collateral, and supplies are properly and timely ordered, received, stocked, stored and accessible.
- Manage inbound and outbound packaging and shipment of merchandise to and from our customers, ensuring exceptional customer experience in cooperation with the store manager, and working with a thoughtful attention to detail.
- Maintain a detailed inventory management process, ensuring consistency of record keeping and complete chains of custody. Conduct regular inventory counts to verify stock levels and identify any discrepancies, ensure compliance with insurance requirements, and maintain accurate records.
- Drive store record-rentention, in coordination with the Store Manager, maintaining organized files and documentation, and ensuring compliance with policy.
- Update logistics and shipping information on our CRM and internal tools, and ensure customers and team are updated appropriately.
- Build strong relationships and manage contracts with global courier partners to find the best logistics solutions and optimise delivery schedules and processes .
- Support internal teams with customer inquiries regarding shipping, freight, and customs — troubleshooting as needed with hands-on support.
- Work in tandem with our Store Manager to develop and adapt operational SOPs to provide a best-in-class experience for our customers.
- Use analytical and quantitative methods to assess performance and suggest areas for improvement to enhance efficiency in your domain.
- Be part of the team that’s developing the future global logistic operations for Wristcheck, and provide support when we expand geographically.
What you'll bring:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or similar, or relevant working experience in a luxury boutique
- A minimum of 4 years of work experience in retail operations, logistics processes, and e-commerce. Experience working with luxury goods required
- Highly organized, possessing extreme attention to detail; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to manage large workloads while prioritizing between multiple tasks
- Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and data analysis programs like Tableau
- Open minded with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, share and grow together
- Strong communicator that’s able to work independently and part of a small, but fast growing team!
