How you'll make an impact
As a leader of the Business Support Coordinators (BSCs), you will oversee Xero's administrative function, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals. You will drive process improvements, foster accountability and excellence, and empower your team to deliver exceptional results. By creating clear strategic roadmaps, you will transform operational processes across administrative functions, enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities and drive business growth.
Your leadership will establish scalable processes, a culture of excellence, and provide your team with the clarity, focus, and support they need to thrive. Acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, you will elevate Business Support Services, positioning it as a world-class admin function.
This role is part of the PX Programs, Operations, and Transformation leadership team, driving cross-functional projects to enhance organisational efficiency and people support functions.
What you'll do
● Define and execute long-term strategic priorities for the Business Support team, aligning with Xero’s goals, and driving OKRs to completion.
● Establish KPIs to track productivity, service quality, and business impact, reporting progress and addressing risks.
● Lead process improvements, embed changes through strategic roadmaps, and standardise administrative procedures to enhance efficiency.
● Build strong relationships with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring clear communication of expectations.
● Optimise resource allocation, balance team workloads, and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on growth and excellence.
● Coach and develop the Business Support team while mentoring cross-functional administrative professionals.
What you'll bring with you
● Extensive leadership experience with 6+ years in people management and 8+ years supporting C-suite/MD/CEO-level roles, thriving in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
● Proven ability to manage competing priorities, deliver against deadlines, and oversee complex projects with exceptional attention to detail.
● Strong event coordination skills, including managing end-to-end logistics for leadership groups across multiple time zones.
● Innovative and adaptable mindset, skilled in critical thinking, problem-solving, and navigating ambiguity to drive efficiency and achieve outcomes.
● Exceptional communication, planning, and organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to build professional networks and foster collaboration.
