Yalent is proud to partner with Osta, a trailblazing AI-powered home maintenance platform that's transforming how homeowners connect with certified skilled tradespeople. We're seeking a passionate and results-driven Field Acquisition Specialist to fuel Osta's rapid expansion across California.

About Osta:

Osta is redefining home services by instantly matching homeowners with top-tier electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians through its innovative platform. As the critical link in Osta's growth strategy, you'll build the network of skilled professionals that powers this revolution in home maintenance.

Your Mission:

Drive rapid provider acquisition by sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding exceptional independent service providers (ISPs), ensuring Osta delivers unmatched service coverage across key California markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Technician Acquisition:

  • Aggressively source, recruit, and onboard 50+ skilled blue-collar technicians monthly (electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, etc.) across Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.
  • Implement innovative recruitment strategies, including forming partnerships with trade schools, vocational training centers, contractor associations, and gig-worker communities.

Bilingual Community Engagement:

  • Conduct localized outreach in both English and Spanish through community events, social media campaigns, direct networking, and personalized sales approaches.
  • Act as the primary ambassador and spokesperson for Osta’s provider recruitment initiatives within diverse communities.

Performance Management & KPI Tracking:

  • Manage the entire ISP acquisition funnel from initial contact through activation and onboarding.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, including new provider sign-ups, activation rates, and geographic expansion goals.

Market & Competitive Intelligence:

  • Leverage Osta’s proprietary AI technology to identify market opportunities, prioritize high-demand zones, and swiftly address supply gaps.
  • Regularly monitor competitor recruitment activities and market trends to proactively refine and optimize acquisition strategies.

Onboarding & Activation Optimization:

  • Continuously streamline and enhance the onboarding experience, reducing the ISP time-to-first-job to under 48 hours.
  • Collaborate closely with Osta’s tech and operations teams to develop and refine multilingual onboarding tools and resources.

Who You Are:

  • Bilingual Negotiator: Fluent in Spanish and English with a strong track record in recruitment, sales, or gig-economy acquisition.
  • Gig Economy Expert: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-volume provider acquisition (e.g., Uber, Lyft, Handy, TaskRabbit).
  • Data-Driven Performer: Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), adept at using analytics and dashboards to track and improve performance.
  • Local Market Expert: Deep understanding of California’s blue-collar service market, including familiarity with technician networks, vocational training resources, and gig-economy dynamics.
  • Results-Oriented Hustler: Driven by fast-paced environments, thrives on performance metrics, and motivated by tangible impacts.
  • Fluent bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • 3+ years in high-volume recruitment/sales (gig economy or blue-collar trades preferred)
  • Proven track record (50+ monthly hires)
  • Deep knowledge of California service markets (5 target counties)
  • Data-driven operator (CRM/KPI proficiency)
  • Tech-forward problem-solver (AI tools/process optimization)
  • California resident with local travel ability
  • High-Impact Role: Your contributions directly shape Osta’s provider network and statewide growth.
  • Competitive Earnings: Attractive hourly compensation with clear, performance-based bonus opportunities.  $25–$50/hour (based on experience+attractive performance bonuses)
