About the Role:
As the Customer Acquisition Team Leader at Yodeck, you will lead the charge in driving high-quality lead generation through both paid and organic channels, fueling our self-serve (PLG) and sales-assisted (SLG) strategies. By managing a talented team of Paid and SEO specialists, you will develop impactful campaigns, optimize performance, and leverage market trends to ensure continual growth and efficiency. Your role will focus on lowering acquisition costs, maximizing ROI, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve Yodeck’s ambitious goals, all while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within your team.
What We Are Trying to Achieve:
- Establish a center of excellence for driving high quality prospects into our funnel, supporting our self-serve (PLG) and sales-assisted (SLG) motions.
- Clear ownership of paid and organic lead generation for Yodeck, creating campaigns and long-term programs that deliver continual growth at the top of the funnel.
- Continual focus on efficiency across the investment we make, with a strong attention to lowering the cost of customer acquisition and increasing our return on investment.
How We Will Do It:
- Lead and align the Paid and SEO teams, building our competency and uplifting our skills to ensure that the right choices are made to support high velocity growth.
- Set the Paid strategy, ensuring the right balance across available channels and continual evaluation of campaign performance to achieve increasing returns.
- Define SEO strategy to drive organic traffic, identifying ways Yodeck can take a leading position in ranking. Align with the Paid team to ensure maximise campaign effectiveness.
- Accurately interpret internal data signals of campaign analysis and lead scoring to optimize our strategies and remove underperforming initiatives.
- Identify market trends across paid and organic channels - especially AI (GEO) search, to determine their impact and how to exploit them for the benefit of Yodeck.
- Work very closely with other Marketing teams towards common goals, creating highly collaborative relationships that are built on mutual respect and trust.
- Establish a strong team spirit, with a strong focus on performance. Strive for excellence and accountability to meet our high standards and company values.
- Ensure the necessary skills sets are present in the team to meet our mid term needs, and set out the pathways for team members to develop their careers within Yodeck.
How We Will Measure Success:
- Business Plan Goals: Visitors, MQLs (Registrations) and Subscriptions
- Operational Performance Metrics: Funnel Conversion Rates, Lead Scores
- Business Performance Metrics: LTV/CAC, ROAS
- Over 5 years in senior performance/growth marketing position, leading a team of 4+.
- Substantial knowledge of lead creation for SaaS business models.
- Managed substantial paid budgets, in a multi-region B2C or B2B business.
- Deep experience of SEO and understanding of the latest trends around AI Search.
- Proven track record of delivering efficiency gains on paid budgets and increasing ROAS.
