Job Description

Across the Ampol Group we are working to uplift our operational resilience in relation to emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity. As part of this uplift project, we are looking for an Organisational Resilience Specialist Mātanga Mārohirohi Tōpūtanga to join us on a nine month fixed term contract.

To enable Z to continue to operate a safe, secure and reliable business and respond and recover to disruptive events we need your expertise in resilience and compliance to enhance and enable our systems and capabilities.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Continue to establish our business continuity (BC) management framework, systems and capability
  • Be accountable for completing the in-flight BC Uplift project in 2025 and ensure successful delivery of our updated Business Continuity Plans
  • Develop a roadmap, systems and capability to ensure we can meet the Group Compliance standard
  • Lead the application of resilience standards and underlying procedures and tools across Z as well as improving the integrity and application of the Z Crisis Management Plan (CMP) and Emergency Response Plans (ERPs)
  • Work across the Ampol Group and lead our adoption of the Group digital resilience platform
  • Refresh our understanding and activities to meet our obligations of the CDEM Act and Emergency Management Bill, and as a NZ Lifeline Utility 
  • Conduct physical security assessment across Z operational facilities

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to Z

  • Demonstrated experience in establishing, maintaining and improving operational resilience frameworks and plans within a commercial setting
  • Knowledgeable on best practice standards and framework and experienced with bringing these to life, i.e. CIMS framework, ISO 22301:2019
  • Experience with working in NZ’s legislative and regulatory setting for emergency management and with applicable agencies, i.e. CDEM and Lifeline groups
  • A resilience related qualifications is preferred, i.e. CBCI or equivalent
  • Able to generate, guide and facilitate group discussions and learnings regarding business impact analysis
  • Knowledge and experience in managing end-to-end projects or programmes of work, including project leadership and management, milestone monitoring, and review reporting
  • Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders, forming partnership that support business success

The base salary range for this role is $129,200 to $152,000 per annum, we also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
