Senior Logistics Associate (P-4501)

We are looking for a Senior Logistics Associate to come in and join our Warehouse Team at 10x Genomics reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager.  The ideal individual should have a great understanding on how material is picked, packed and shipped within an organization. In this role, the Senior Logistics Associate will be responsible for handling and shipping finished goods to all customers, 3PL and other 10X sites.  

The Senior Logistics Associate will work to resolve issues within a given scope and will work with Customer Service and Planning to ensure that orders are shipped in a timely manner. The Senior Logistics Associate will also work directly with Manufacturing, QC, and Purchasing to ensure a seamless material flow within the department.  We are looking for a Senior Logistics Associate who can bring a can-do attitude and sense of purpose to the job, be flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at managing multiple priorities.

What you will be doing:  

• Ensure that our orders have the correct required paperwork (ex SLI, BOL, CI) for shipment
• Ensure that parts are picked and packed at the required temperature and/or conditions (e.g. cold chain material, ambient goods) in preparation for delivery to internal and external customer
• Process shipping requests from 10x employees worldwide
• Schedule pick-ups with our freight forwarders and our customers freight forwarders as needed
• Process domestic and international shipments 
• Assist with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy 

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; 
• Hazmat Certified 
• Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment, to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 50-70lbs.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant warehouse management ERP software (preferred Oracle)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends

Preferred Skills & Background:

•  Hazmat Certified 
• Experience in Pharma/Biotech Manufacturing operating material handling equipment
