What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to support one of our key strategic accounts. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of projects, fostering strong client relationships, and aligning deliverables with the client’s and our company’s strategic objectives.They have experience managing projects according to project management best practices across a range of project management methodologies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Management 

  • Manages the execution of strategic partnership projects  with multiple workstreams, systems, interdependencies and resources.

  • Works with project sponsors to align on project goals and ensures success metrics are defined upfront and measured post project implementation.

  • Manages resource plans to ensure on time delivery of projects.  

  • Compiles project risk registers and works with a manager or team member to help construct the mitigation plans.

  • Project comms, documentation, project plans, and tasks are accurately maintained in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Supports senior managers / directors with other projects or programs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Acts as one of the primary points of contact for the strategic account, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

  • Builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders.

  • Provides regular updates and reports on project progress, risks, and opportunities.

  • Understand the client’s business objectives and ensure projects contribute to their strategic goals.

  • Collaborates with internal teams, and strategic account director to align project deliverables with the broader account strategy.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Tracks project performance using appropriate tools and metrics.

  • Prepares and presents detailed reports for internal leadership and client stakeholders.

  • Continuously assesses project outcomes and recommends improvements. 

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting strategic accounts or key clients.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technology-related field or relevant ICT work experience as a Project Manager

  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques; e.g. PMBOK(R)

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working in a constantly changing atmosphere and prioritizing work appropriately.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity.

Working Conditions 

For special project milestones, it may be necessary to work outside of regular working hours.

While this position is open to remote candidates across the U.S., we will prioritize those who live in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area and who are available to come into our Headquarters in Arlington, VA two days a week.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($82,000 $90,000), with potential bonus eligibility.  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
