Job Description

The Educational Experience Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer learning experience and coordinating educational programs with excellence within the AMI program portfolio. This position enhances the learning journey for participants before, during, and after educational events. Key responsibilities include managing all communications vital to program success, developing engaging promotional materials, and managing patient/model logistics for live demonstrations. This role also offers opportunities for growth and adaptation in alignment with evolving program needs and execution strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for AMI program communication for internal teams and external Faculty trainers.
  • Support Facial Aesthetics and Body Contouring educational programs.
  • Plan and implement operational initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and improve program procedures and protocols.
  • Manage tasks within budget.
  • Develop AMI program resources, invitations, in collaboration with cross functional teams and vendors.
  • CVENT/Atrium management, support with customer registration and link to performance.
  • Ensure consistent and compliant internal and external program communications.
  • Assist in the on-site execution of AMI programs, working with program managers and vendors.
  • Manage patient/model communications, expectations, and logistics for live demonstrations.
  • Support end-to-end customer experience from registration, pre-work, during instructions and post program pull through.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and project managers to define scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for initiatives.
  • Identify and communicate key program requirements to cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and material used for training programs.
  • Analyze and mitigate program risks and create reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Faculty, cross functional teams and internal trainers to support the entire customer experience, from registration through certification.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with emphasis in event, communication or human services/social services. Marketing and Operations experience are an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of aesthetics, body contouring, and medical.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, event planning, and/or customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Efficient with time management, and the ability to meet deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to be accountable, agile, and resourceful
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility in work hours and overtime, including weekends, is required.
  • High degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of FDA and regulatory statues as applied to Allergan Aesthetics products, with the ability to function in an environment controlled by outside regulatory entities.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Role is remote
  • Ability to travel up to 70% + domestically (including overnight) is required.
  • Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations and all other international regulatory requirements with which Allergan Complies.
  • Valid driver’s license issued by the state in which the individual resides, good driving record.

  • Ability to read, understand and abide by company procedures. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and report on findings

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and talk and hear; up to 8 hours per day. The employee is regularly required to lift and carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Duties also involve daily keyboard data entry. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment:

Most work is performed in an office-like setting. The noise level in the environment is usually low to moderate.

Employees might be required to drive to different vendor locations and is exposed to outside weather conditions; close, distance, and peripheral vision are required along with the ability to adjust focus and depth perception.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
