Job Overview:
As the Creative Strategist, you will be responsible for leading the creative direction and content strategy for our social media platforms, ensuring our messaging is consistent with our brand’s voice and values. You will work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to craft compelling social content that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and enhances the community experience.
Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Planning – Develop and implement a strategic content calendar that aligns with seasonal launches, trends, and community events.
- Campaign Ideation – Brainstorm, plan, and execute creative social media campaigns that capture attention and engage our audience across platforms.
- Curate Engaging Content – Lead the creation of authentic, relevant, and visually captivating content, ensuring it resonates with our target market and reflects the brand’s mission.
- Trend Analysis – Stay on top of beauty industry trends, cultural movements, and viral social media trends to keep the brand’s content fresh and engaging.
- Collaboration & Oversight – Work closely with the design, influencer, and social media teams to produce and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Community Engagement – Develop strategies for interacting with and growing our community, encouraging user-generated content, and fostering positive brand conversations.
- Performance Analysis – Track and measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns through analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in social media strategy and creative content creation, preferably in the beauty or lifestyle sector.
- Strong expertise in developing engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Proven track record of building brand awareness and engaging communities through social media campaigns.
- Excellent knowledge of beauty trends, pop culture, and digital storytelling.
- Creative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and push boundaries with content.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to work full-time on EST hours, adapting to the fast-paced nature of a growing brand.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful ad campaigns, briefs, or creative projects.
