Job Description

Are you passionate about driving change and supporting growth through impactful projects? Join our team as a Project Manager - Elevate, where you’ll be a key player in ensuring the success of projects that fuel both campus and online expansion efforts. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team of project owners, consultants, and third-party vendors, collaborating to make our business goals a reality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Planning: Analyze project needs and identify key resources required to deliver successful outcomes. You’ll proactively assess the project requirements and ensure the necessary resources are in place.
  • Project Management: Develop clear, actionable project plans, outlining key activities, timelines, and resource requirements to achieve objectives efficiently and effectively. You will use your strong project management skills to ensure everything is aligned.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and document project milestones, ensuring timely completion of activities. You will stay on top of every detail, taking proactive steps to keep projects moving forward and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Multi-Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while consistently tracking progress. You will balance competing priorities and make sure each project stays on track.
  • Resource Optimization: Adjust tasks, sequencing, and resources to overcome any obstacles and maintain smooth project flow. You’ll manage both internal teams and external resources to keep progress steady.
  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams, guiding them through implementation with clear communication, strategic input, and providing coaching as needed. You will support team development, ensuring everyone is aligned and performing to the best of their abilities.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects. You will keep all stakeholders informed about any changes related to resources, timelines, or scope.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide valuable insights to enhance resource efficiency and drive improvements across teams. You’ll help optimize the use of resources, ensuring goals are met effectively.
  • Flexibility & Support: Embrace diverse project responsibilities as needed and adhere to company policies and standards while maintaining a flexible approach to project challenges.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS/BA degree required; Master’s degree in business or project management preferred.
  • Experience: Five years of full lifecycle project management experience, including knowledge of PMBOK or other equivalent methodology.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in an academic enterprise preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and determine effective business solutions.
    • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and advance projects independently.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
    • Capability to manage both business and vendor resources effectively.
    • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency in project management practices and tools.
    • Proven ability to influence and instill credibility in sponsors, peers, and subordinates by meeting project milestones, deadlines, and budget.
  • Certifications: PMP certification preferred.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $111,584.97. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
