You will lead a diverse team of QA professionals—both human testers and AI-driven resources—implement effective testing strategies, and ensure consistent, high-quality software releases. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong track record using Cypress and WebDriver for automated testing.
- Proven experience building and managing QA teams, with emphasis on mentorship and development.
- Demonstrated success creating and executing test strategies for complex software systems, balancing manual and automated testing.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams to define testing processes, metrics, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a dedication to delivering high-quality software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage both human testers and AI-enabled testing teams or tools.
- Experience with AI-driven testing frameworks or ML-based QA solutions.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficiency in performance and load testing tools.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard tools for bug tracking, test case management, and reporting (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Excellent communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a geographically diverse team of QA engineers, including AI-driven testing resources, ensuring the quality of Alvys’ products.
- Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy covering manual, automated, and AI-assisted testing across multiple teams and projects.
- Oversee automated test development using Cypress and WebDriver, and guide adoption of AI-based testing solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success to set clear quality expectations and align on deliverables.
- Integrate automated and AI-assisted tests into the CI/CD pipeline to provide rapid feedback on code stability.
- Mentor and develop QA team members, fostering technical growth and career progression.
- Champion quality best practices across the organization, promoting standardization in testing, documentation, and release management.
- Identify and proactively mitigate risks related to software releases, ensuring defects are caught early.
- Continuously monitor and enhance testing processes to remain efficient, scalable, and in tune with business needs.
