About the role:


As ACD, Copy - Market Access Marketing, you will be responsible for developing compelling copy that resoundingly delivers on strategy and brilliantly brings a brand’s creative voice to life. As a key member of our cross-discipline market access marketing offer, the role seeks a copy lead who is deeply hands-on, balancing the macro picture with the micro details.  


What you'll do:
  • Lead, manage, and write exceptional market access marketing copy to support pipeline and inline assets in maximizing and communicating brand value
  • Foster creative inspiration and lead persuasive copy development from concepting to testing to completion, in alignment with a brand’s strategy and in harmony with its art direction  
  • Serve as a strategic copy partner that amplifies brand performance by being fluent in the client’s strategy, science, customers, competition, market research techniques, promotional venues, medical/legal requirements, and other key needs
  • Collaborate with strategy partners in contributing to key deliverables such as the development of brand plans, positioning, brand identity, creative briefs, and messaging strategy  
  • Participate in the ideation and execution of market access marketing solutions, tactics, and activations that creatively amplify brand performance
  • Maintain strong market access marketing client partnerships with demonstrated creative leadership, advisement, and output
  • Integrate seamlessly and maintain fluency between Advisory and Marketing disciplines within a matrixed organization
  • Grow and contribute to the growth of the market access marketing offer by supporting copy needs for RFPs, pitches, and other new business development opportunities
  • Lead collaboratively with account, strategy, medical, creative, and project management partners on all aspects of market access marketing offer
  • Support photo shoots, video, and film production as needed
  • Write articles, contribute to podcasts, and keep pulse on key market events that would impact reaching and engaging with market access stakeholders creatively    
  • Support leadership with growing the internal copy team and cultivating strong talent, including mentorship, management, and outsourcing of freelance needs  
  • Be flexible with travel up to 10% of time as needed 


About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; Master’s degree preferred (advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, writing, or other similar field)
  • 10+ years creative copywriting experience, preferably in a market access, payer marketing, or managed markets agency environment
  • Experience with market access marketing, including pre-launch, launch, mature, and portfolio brands
  • Highly adept at compelling storytelling especially with technical market access content 
  • Crisp and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and cross-discipline environment with a proactive mindset
  • Highly skilled as an interdisciplinary thinker and curious creative lead
  • Seamlessly skillful in balancing both collaborative work and independent work
  • Proven track record in leading teams, fostering creativity with internal talent, as well as upholding the organization’s culture
  • Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines, across both inline client work and pipeline new business development work
  • Exceptional and reliable organizational skills
