Blue Sky Utility is a leader in solar energy solutions, specializing in renewable energy project development, asset management, and operations & maintenance (O&M). We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and a strong background in renewable energy to enhance our operational efficiency.

This role will focus on CRM management, energy monitoring, workflow automation, and EPC/O&M process optimization. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Hours: Must be available in US East Coast Hours (8 AM- 6PM)

Key Responsibilities

CRM System & Asset Management

• Oversee and optimize CRM workflows to manage customer data, asset records, warranties, and service requests.
• Ensure seamless CRM integration with energy monitoring platforms and automation tools.
• Improve data accuracy, coordination, and reporting between EPC and O&M teams.

Project & Workflow Automation

• Develop Smartsheet/Smartsuite workflows and dashboards to track project progress.
• Automate task management and reporting for improved team efficiency.
• Integrate CRM and project tracking tools for seamless data flow.

Energy Monitoring & Solar Operations

• Analyze solar PV system performance data to identify underperforming assets.
• Troubleshoot data gaps, inverter errors, and system downtime in collaboration with field teams.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules for solar assets.

EPC & O&M Coordination

• Support solar project lifecycles from design through commissioning.
• Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination, and compliance tracking.
• Review technical documents (layouts, electrical designs, permits) for accuracy.

✔ CRM & Data Management: Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.
✔ Workflow Automation: Proficiency in Smartsheet, Smartsuite, and data integration tools.
✔ Energy & Solar Industry Knowledge: Understanding of solar PV systems, O&M, and EPC processes.
✔ Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret energy data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows.
✔ Project Management Mindset: Comfortable managing multiple projects, tracking deadlines, and improving processes.
✔ Strong Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work across technical and business teams.

Contract Terms

• Engagement Type: Independent Contractor
• Hours: Must be available in US East Coast Hours (8 AM- 6PM)
• 40+ hours of work per week.
• Location: Remote (South Africa-based)
• Compensation: Competitive contractor rates based on experience
