As a Division Manager for Repairs & Masonry, you will play a critical role in overseeing and leading all aspects of the Repairs & Masonry division within our company. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of skilled professionals, ensuring the successful execution of masonry projects from inception to completion. You will be instrumental in maintaining the division's growth and profitability while upholding the company's reputation for excellence in home solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure budgets and goals are met by working with General Manager (GM) to oversee and ensure the Repairs and Masonry division is adhering to Bone Dry policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the hiring, training, retention, evaluation, and development of all employees. Assist GM with assessing the need for additional staffing, as well as the hiring, training, retention, evaluation, review, transferring, supervision, discipline and termination of employees.
- Prepare budgets and goals for their market.
- Manage work flow and expenses to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Assist the accounting department to manage collections and ensure collections procedures are being followed.
- Work with the GM to establish procedures and operations manuals to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Responsible for ensuring employees follow the procedures outlined in the operations manuals.
- Continually assess the business climate, sales and production backlogs, inventory and staffing. Make recommendations for adjustments to GM.
- Work closely with GM, manufacturers and suppliers to maintain positive relationships.
- Fill in where needed as a salesman, production worker or in the office as work dictates and be able to perform all the tasks within your supervision.
- Works closely with other market GMs to implement storm plans and share resources to capture revenue.
- Inform employees of changes in Bone Dry policies/procedures or operations manuals.
- Manage the training system to educate new or existing employees on current or new practices/products/procedures.
- Provide guidance and direction to all staff regarding professional development.
- Act as a representative of Bone Dry for the community and public relations.
Requirements:- Industry experience preferred but not required
- Management/Leadership experience required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, College Degree Preferred
- Ability to use all types of ladders
- Ability to get on all types of roofs
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent communication skills
- Must possess the ability to positively and professionally interact with co-workers, the general public, contractors, vendors and Bone Dry Roofing clients
- Excellent time management, organization, problem solving, and attention to detail skills
