We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a creative and data-driven Email Marketing Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute email marketing strategies and campaigns to increase customer engagement and retention.
- Create and manage email marketing calendars, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
- Design, code, and test responsive email templates and optimize them for deliverability and user experience.
- Segment email lists based on user data and behaviour to personalise and target email campaigns effectively.
- Monitor email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, and make data-driven optimizations.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyse campaign results to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, content, and client service to align email marketing efforts with overall marketing strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in email marketing and apply them to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist, preferably in the financial industry;
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid, Campaign Monitor) and marketing
automation tools;
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for email template design and coding;
- Familiarity with email deliverability best practices, spam regulations and email authentication protocols
(DKIM, SPF, DMARC); - Experience with email segmentation, personalization and automation workflows;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, perform A/B testing and make data-driven decisions;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Understanding of the financial markets is a plus;
