Tester

Mission duration: 3months renewable.
Work set up : On site if located in Bangalore ; fully remote if located somewhere else.
Seniority : 4 seniority levels required.

We are seeking Tester with experience in the insurance domain to design, develop, and execute test plans for Insurance company applications. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of insurance processes and regulations, strong - GBS Internal experience in software testing methodologies and tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include identifying and resolving defects, participating in regression testing, and ensuring that applications meet business requirements. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Skills Required: Software Testing experience, Agile Methodology, Software Testing life cycle, Defect management life cycle, Test Automation using Playwright & JavaScript, Performance testing using JMeter.

Test Tools knowledge required: Jira, Jira-Xray, Confluence, Playwright, JavaScript, Selenium box, Perfecto, WinSCP,

Putty, Postman, SOAPUI, Splunk, Kibana, Dynatrace, Open Shift, JMeter, Load Runner, Vex, VSCode, AWS Workspaces,

Jenkins

Experience Level (Junior 2 - 4 Years):
Job Title: Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Must have experience in Designing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing and good to have similar experience in automation testing.

• Requirement analysis and design of manual test cases based on requirements and architectural /design guidelines.

• Test execution of features and/or bug-validation and delivering solutions in accordance with testing guidelines and timely with high quality.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and working closely with all project stake holders.

• Executing test cases and reporting defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of applications.

• Ensuring testing and submission of results in committed delivery timelines.

• Knowledge in Defect Life Cycle and Defect & Test management tool like JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, X-Ray.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in Software testing

• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from senior testers.

b) Experience Level (Senior 4 - 8 Years)
Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the testing and delivery of parts of a product, in accordance with the customer’s requirements and interpersonal quality norms.

• In addition to ensuring the functional correctness of products and applications.

• Must have experience in Designing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing and good to have similar experience in automation testing.

• Requirement analysis and design of manual test cases based on requirements and architectural /design guidelines.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.

• Test execution of features and/or bug-validation and delivering solutions in accordance with testing guidelines and timely with high quality.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and working closely with all project stake holders. Executing test cases and reporting defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of applications.

• Identification and implementation of integration tests to ensure solution addresses customer requirements, and quality, security requirements of product are met.

• Ensuring testing and submission of results in committed delivery timelines.

• Knowledge in Defect Life Cycle and Defect & Test management tool like JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, X-Ray.

• Collaborating with software developers and business analysts to identify and resolve software defects.

• Participating in the review and analysis of business requirements to ensure testability.

• Providing input into the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Collaborate closely with development team to understand/enhance test automation frameworks and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.

• Responsible for ensuring that the testing process is efficient, effective, and aligned with project goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues, are essential.

c) Experience Level (Senior 4 - 8 Years)
Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber framework, and Java. Capable of handling and maintaining data driven/test driven automation framework

• Proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python, Java Scripts etc.

• Associate must have experience in Designing and creating automation test plans, test cases, and test scripts automation testing.

• Generate detailed test reports and metrices to communicate the status of test efforts to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and create test cases for automation.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation best practices.

• Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process by integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues found during automated testing, working closely with developers to resolve them.

• Maintain test environments and test data to ensure consistency and reliability of automated tests.

• Document test cases, test results, and automation processes for future reference.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and working closely with all project stake holders.

• Knowledge in Defect Life Cycle and Test and Defect management tool like JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, and X-Ray.

• Experience in Web Services Testing (REST/SOAP) using test tool like Postman.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 4-8 years of experience in test automation

• Experience with test automation tools such as Play wright

• Strong programming skills in a language such as JavaScript

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

d) Experience Level (Senior 4 - 8 Years):
Job Title: Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in performance testing tools, with expert-level knowledge of NeoLoad/Jmeter/Load Runner.

• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, workload modeling.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace & AppDynamics, for real-time performance monitoring and diagnostics.

• Basic understating of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for performance testing in cloud-based environments.

• Experience in Web HTTP/HTML, web services protocols.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze performance data, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and environments, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and working closely with all project stake holders.

• Executing test cases and reporting defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of applications.

• Knowledge in Defect Life Cycle and Defect management tool like JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr.

• Collaborating with software developers and business analysts to identify and resolve performance issues.

• Knowledge of CI-CD Pipeline and SCM tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 4-8 years of experience in performance testing.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Good Team Player/Analytical Skills/Communication Skill

• 3-6 years of experience in performance testing, with a focus on designing, executing, and analyzing performance test solutions using NeoLoad/JMeter/Load Runner preferred.

• Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies.

e) Experience Level (Lead 8 - 12 Years):
Job Title: Test Lead

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading a team of testers in designing, executing, and managing functional testing activities for software applications.

• Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies, with the ability to design, develop, and execute test scripts.

• The role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies and the ability to create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test schedules.

• Responsible for ensuring that the testing process is efficient, effective, and aligned with project goals and timelines.

• Minimum 6 years of experience into Quality Assurance with strong testing concepts, including but not limited to STLC, End to end testing, integration testing, Smoke testing & regression testing.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and working closely with all project stake holders.

• Executing test cases and reporting defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of applications.

• Knowledge in Defect Life Cycle and Defect management tool like JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr.

• Collaborating with software developers and business analysts to identify and resolve software defects.

• Participating in the review and analysis of business requirements to ensure testability.

• Providing input into the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Keeping abreast of industry best practices and new technologies in software testing.

Qualifications:
