Trading Operations Associate (On-call)

About the Opportunity:

This role places you at the core of our operations, ensuring smooth trading operations via identification and mitigation of risk. We work in a demanding environment where data-driven decision-making and technology are at the heart of everything we do.

• Trading Operations Support: 
• Monitor and manage live cryptocurrency trading systems, with an initial focus on long tail spot assets.
• Provide real-time support to the token listing team, addressing issues related to performance, liquidity, data integrity, and system anomalies.

• Incident Management:
• Respond to and resolve trading disruptions, technical issues, and system failures in a timely manner.

• Risk Management:
• Identify, report, and mitigate operational risks in collaboration with the token listing team, market makers and external project teams.

• Automation and Process Improvement:
• Develop and implement tools to automate routine operational tasks, such as system health checks and error recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational workflows and reduce manual intervention.

• System Performance and Optimisation:
• Work with developers and engineers to optimise infrastructure and risk monitors.

• Data Management:
• Manage large volumes of real-time and historical market data for analysis and risk management.
• Ensure data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

• Collaboration:
• Work closely with market makers, developers, and token listing team to support the growth of spot trading on the exchange.
• Communicate operational insights and propose enhancements to the trading environment.
