Responsibilities- Training Program Development and Delivery
- Design and deliver innovative training programs, workshops, and seminars tailored to the needs of faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Develop curricula and materials for both in-person and virtual learning sessions.
- Coordinate onboarding programs for new employees to ensure successful integration into the college community.
- Needs Assessment
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and align training initiatives with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to assess department-specific training requirements.
- Professional Development
- Organize and promote professional development opportunities, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance courses.
- Partner with external training providers and consultants as needed to deliver specialized programs.
- Facilitate pathways for employees to pursue certifications, continuing education, and career growth opportunities.
- Evaluation and Reporting
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Prepare reports on training outcomes, participation, and ROI to inform leadership and guide future initiatives.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
- Manage the college’s learning management system, including course creation, participant tracking, and reporting.
- Provide technical support and training to users of the LMS platform.
- Compliance and Required Training
- Ensure compliance with all mandated training requirements, including workplace safety, anti-discrimination, and other regulatory obligations.
- Track and maintain records of employee participation and certification completions.
Qualifications & Requirements- Education
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in training and development (e.g., ATD-CPTD) is preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, instructional design, or organizational development.
- Experience with learning management systems and e-learning tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with higher education or public sector training programs is a plus.
