Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compensation Job Evaluation Specialist for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.
This role is on the total rewards team in human resources. The job evaluation team (JET) reviews requests for new and revised job descriptions, aligning to our job structure, ensuring that existing jobs aren't already a match.
- This role will work with business leaders in the review of new or revised jobs across the company. Map existing job descriptions into a single job catalog, making suggestions on best aligned roles, flagging any discrepancies, and suggesting any necessary changes to the job catalog based on market data and research;
- May support compensation work such as benchmarking roles and providing compensation support for local LatAm marketed roles;
- Project management support in implementing new job catalog across whole company;
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of applicable laws and regulations. Aligns client deliverables and recommendations accordingly;
- Demonstrates an understanding of HR policies and practices related to ethics, employee conduct, performance and dispute resolution;
- Uses knowledge of the political, cultural and social systems to build networks and relationships to support the organization’s business goals.
Governance
- Updates and maintains the job description library, making recommendations for changes and provides updates to key stakeholders;
- Tracks and manages pending job description requests to ensure timely implementation;
- Operates governance process for all new or revised job descriptions.
Facilitation
- Works with Compensation to ensure consistency with internal policies and practices (i.e. span of control, organizational design/structure, alignment and application of job catalog, etc.);
- Facilitates handoffs between key stakeholders (i.e. people managers, HR, Compensation and Talent Acquisition) regarding any new and/or updated job descriptions to ensure timely delivery and implementation.
Consultation
- Partners with business leaders and HR to map existing job descriptions into a single job catalog, making suggestions on best aligned roles, flagging any discrepancies, and suggesting any necessary changes to the job catalog based on market data and research;
- Provides recommendations to people leaders and HR to help shape and define the organizational structure of a department or business unit;
- Ensures successful and timely delivery of job description requests from people leaders;
- Serves as an escalation resource and subject matter expert for people managers and other stakeholders for all items related to job descriptions or employee job alignment.

Total Work Experience
- Minimum Required: 3 Years in HR generalist experience, with competency in compensation, data analysis or project management preferred.
