Senior Finance Manager - Crypto

The platform has generated over $500 million in revenue since March 2024 - attracting significant attention in the crypto community.

Role Overview

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee treasury management, financial operations, and long-term financial strategy. This role has high growth potential, with an opportunity to transition into a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position as the company expands. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial health, optimizing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage company liquidity, ensuring optimal cash positioning for operational and strategic needs.
• Oversee banking relationships and financial instruments to optimize cash flow.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure, particularly in the volatile crypto market.

Financial Operations & Strategy

• Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and reporting structures.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
• Work closely with leadership to define and execute financial strategy.

Crypto-Specific Financial Management

• Navigate regulatory, tax, and compliance challenges unique to the crypto industry.
• Optimize crypto payment processing and exchange integrations.

Growth & Leadership

• Lead and build a high-performing finance team.
• Drive financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making.

External Partnerships & Negotiations

• Negotiate terms with external financial service providers (banks, payment processors, crypto exchanges, custody providers, etc.).
• Optimize financial vendor relationships for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

At least 1 year in crypto in a finance related role

Strong understanding of crypto financial operations, digital asset management, and blockchain-based financial tools.

Experience working at a fast moving impressive crypto company or FAANG level company or scale-up.

Able to work in person in NYC 5 days a week
