We are looking for a dynamic Database Analyst to join our team! The Data Analyst will primarily support the Data Analyst task lead. The Data Analyst will create and manage databases (Excel workbooks, Microsoft Access, basic SQL Server), design and execute analyses, and maintain and develop new Standard Operating Procedures as needed. The Data Analyst may also give direction to junior data analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze surveys containing attendance data to include attendance demographics
  • Implement and manage data repositories containing large volumes of files
  • Develop and manage various advanced Excel workbooks, and basic PowerPoint and Word files
  • Protect data using document-level encryption
  • Manage data logs and prioritize workload to meet customer timelines
  • Prepare and execute standard operating procedures
  • Design and execute data analyses
  • Design, prepare, and deliver short training classes
  • Develop the technical and analytics skills of junior analysts
  • Provide input for weekly reports
  • Collaborate with others frequently on analyses

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience
  • MS/MA/MBA with 1+ years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft collaboration tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Apps, and SharePoint
  • Able to obtain a minimum of NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) for a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Clearance

  • Assumes ownership and responsibility for assigned actions and/or tasks
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and recognize when re-prioritization is needed based on project and client needs
  • Ability to organize and synthesize information
  • Exceptional eye for detail and the ability to spot patterns in data
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power BI

Desired Skills

  • Previous work as a federal employee or contractor
  • Previous work experience with data pipelines, preferably in Azure or MS Fabric
  • Previous experience with scripting languages such as Python or R

CATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees. Our goal is to provide a compensation package that reflects the value you bring to our team, is competitive with market rates, and promotes your financial security and personal well-being. The annual salary range for this role is $84,000 - $105,000. Please note that the salary information provided is a general guideline. CATHEXIS considers various factors in its final offer, including location, qualifications, experience, and skills.
