POSITION SUMMARY

The Strategic Implementation Associate (ProsperOk) provides administrative and programmatic support for the Advanced Training programs CEO offers to the job seekers we serve. This role plays a pivotal role in the centralization of the recruitment process for participants interested in these Advanced Training opportunities, including but not limited to conducting eligibility assessments and ensuring the efficient and seamless administration of tasks that support a successful program. This role focuses on supporting centralized aspects of the Advanced Training program, with focus on streamlining and ensuring consistency of the services for training participants.

Who We Are

The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) provides employment services to people recently released from incarceration. Across the United States, 8,000-9,000 people participate in CEO each year, transitioning to employment that supports themselves, their families, and their communities.

What began as a demonstration project of the Vera Institute of Justice in the 1970s to address employment barriers facing the formerly incarcerated following release in New York City has grown into the leading reentry employment organization in the country, where over 30,000 formerly incarcerated individuals have secured full-time employment since 1996.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of program implementation experience (program management experience preferred) in a fast-growing and results-oriented nonprofit environment

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Key responsibilities of the (title) include but are not limited to:

Program Support

  • Coordinate and provide support on key projects & activities, with a focus on CEO’s Advance Training program
  • Assess effectiveness and determine impact of Strategic Implementation activities, working in partnership with the team to improve processes & activities to best support effective pilot management
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Program Support department, Program Delivery staff, and other CEO departments to help produce best practices for piloting new innovations and rolling out new processes.
  • Gather feedback from participants and staff to inform effective project design and implementation across CEO’s program sites nationally
  • Ensure data is inputted with fidelity, and support reviews & report outs of key data to inform efficacy and scalability of pilot programs
  • Communicate consistently with program delivery staff in local sites to support and ensure continued adoption of new initiatives 

Advanced Training Program

  • Facilitate information sessions for participants interested in training opportunities 
  • Assess eligibility of participants for training using an outlined criteria
  • Schedule and facilitate training eligibility/onboarding meetings with participants and/or staff
  • Communicate participant training enrollment status with local program staff and partner with staff on an as needed basis
  • Connect participants with various services including but not limited to training providers, local partners and/or medical offices etc.
  • Support participants with obtaining external funding eligibility documentation and/or other documents relevant to training prerequisites 
  • Maintain accurate data entry of incoming training referrals and update referral status
  • Utilize CORE to track training information session registrations and attendance
  • Send information session reminders and reschedule participants (as needed)
  • Document training enrollment progress in CORE  and process participant stipends
  • Review participant training agreements and other related documents to ensure compliance with grant and government distribution requirements 

Team Support

  • Support in the facilitation of professional development workshops in collaboration with other CEO teams
  • Provide support to vocational staff overseeing participant trainees as needed
  • Contribute to the development, creation, and implementation of centralized programing for CEO’s Advance Training Programs
  • Support internal/external participant outreach and recruitment efforts
  • Interview participants in training and gather marketing materials
  • Support National Management staff and other Program Support teams as needed

Compensation and Benefits  

The salary range for this position is $50,200-$56,000. In an effort to be both equitable and transparent, CEO's compensation philosophy considers a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, internal equity, and home office location in making a final determination on our salary offer.

We recognize that salary is a part of the overall compensation package and also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, as well as professional development opportunities and training, including regular training opportunities in Motivational Interviewing (MI). MI is one evidence-based skill that reentry and human service professionals can utilize when supporting participants to achieve their goals.
