BLITS 3.0 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This role will be to directly support the mission of the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) to secure information and information systems; to support mission success through effective and efficient service delivery; and to sustain required infrastructure and capabilities. As one part of the greater Air Force Information Network (AFIN) enterprise, the 66 ABG Communications and Information Division (66 ABG/SC) has responsibilities in two categories (1) direct actions in support of Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) and geographically separated units (GSUs); and (2) indirect actions to support the AFIN enterprise. Successful solutions for this requirement are expected to have strengths in four areas: integration, flexibility, AFIN knowledge, and technical expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
· Act as Equipment Control Officer (ECO) for Air Force IT equipment accounts.
· Interface with AF Equipment Control Office (AFMECO).
· Maintain proficiency with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database application and in-house Equipment Custodian Asset Management (ECAM) database application.
· Daily activities include entry and maintenance of data in DPAS and ECAM databases, creating and using custom-made queries and reports, downloading/exporting account information to Excel spreadsheets and supporting Account Property Custodians.
· Assist in developing and maintaining new database or application functionality to support the team, including SharePoint.
· Prepare and post inventory certification documents and ensure the process is in compliance with governing directives and standards, to include inventory certification documents.
· Produce and ensure Report of Survey (ROS) letters and spreadsheets are provided to the organizational commander, IT Property Custodians, and the Base ROS office.
· Run reports and correct discrepancies.
· Print and affix bar-code labels for all IT assets.
· Manage and maintain organizational IT equipment accounts.
· Manage Technical Refresh process, tracking and issuing computers to users.
· Perform account reconciliation functions such as printing Property Custodian inventory certification reports, emailing reports to custodians and searching asset management system for missing equipment.
Skills:
· Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 11)
· Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel
· Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
· Familiar with computer hardware and peripheral devices for identification and tracking purposes
· Strong customer service skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Requirements:
· High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience
· Secret Level DoD Security Clearance (or ability to obtain clearance)
